The Full Cupboard...
Imagine a cupboard that’s been filled and filled… and never emptied.
At first, everything fits. You organise it. You cope.
But over time, things get pushed to the back.
New things get added to the front.
The door gets harder to close.
So you start holding things in your hands instead.
Balancing. Carrying. Not dropping anything.
This is what emotional load can feel like, especially when you’re both a parent and a carer.
You don’t get many chances to process, only to keep going.
So experiences don’t move through, they get stored.
And when there’s no space left, even small things can feel like too much.
We can feel exhausted, short fused, forgetful, resentful even.
Tonight’s drawing and writing workshop is a gentle way to begin opening that cupboard.
Not by forcing it.
Not by pulling everything out at once.
But by creating just enough safety to take one thing down, notice it, and let it move.
Through simple drawing and writing, we give the body a way to process what words alone often can’t.
You don’t need to be creative.
You don’t need to have it figured out.
You just need a small willingness to give yourself some space.
If your cupboard feels full you’re very welcome to join us.

Ah that's a shame, it is recorded so you can watch in your own time.
Can’t make it tonight but definitely would love to join when/if you run another one 💚
